Caroline Moorehead a specialist in human rights stories has written a thoughrily researched book on the plight of refugees across the globe. Her stories are not only about the refugees of today, like the Lost Boys of Cairo and the ones who end up at the mercy of trafficker and the European sextrade, but also the immigrants who traveled to Australia and America in search of a better life. One cannot help but see the similarities and wonder why have we not learnt from the past.
The book is nothing short of than brilliant and honest.
